Dr. Darrell L. Greene

VISION:

To inspire, educate, motivate and bring the revelation of Jesus Christ to those who desire a more meaningful relationship with Him through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Ghost; to minister salvation, healing and deliverance to the masses; to improve the quality of the lives of believers and enable them to complete their God given assignment.

Dr. Darrell L. Greene is the second child of the union between Carl and Goldie Greene. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., he received his education in the District of Columbia Public School System. He is also a licensed evangelist, minister and has received his Doctorate of Divinity.

His journey with the Lord began in 1982 when he was informed by a physician at D.C. General Hospital that he had contracted tuberculosis. He explained that his lungs had corroded to the level where he had approximately four to six weeks to live. Dr. Greene had been previously diagnosed with bronchitis. The result of his tuberculin skin test came back negative twice. He had developed a chronic cough, severe night sweats and lost forty pounds. A family friend directed him to a local bishop who encouraged him to trust and believe God. Dr. Greene was a sinner then, having smoked two packs of cigarettes per day and smoked marijuana continuously.

Due to the mercy of the Lord, Dr. Greene was miraculously released from the hospital and his death sentence in four days. He continued to smoke until the day he met the bishop who encouraged him to receive the Holy Ghost. Immediately Dr. Greene was filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues as the spirit gave utterance. He received healing and deliverance and committed himself to study the Word of God and share the Word with others. He began his ministry evangelizing especially to groups who knew nothing about the miracles of the Lord.

Dr. Greene has since been dedicated to helping others who are suffering spiritually, physically and emotionally. He was the President and Lead Counselor of a substance abuse ministry for a local prominent church for over 6 years. With the assistance of several deliverance ministers, he taught those who were oppressed of the devil that through the power of the Holy Ghost, they could be free. Many were delivered without the aid of medications.

He extended his ministry to include hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities and counseling families of the terminally ill. Additionally, through the prison ministry Dr. Greene taught bible study at the Correctional Training Facility in Washington, D.C.

Subsequently Dr. Greene founded The Secret Place Kingdom Ministries, Inc., an Evangelistic Association which caters to the ministerial needs of pastors, church leadership and the local community. He has conducted regular church services, revivals, and conferences. Dr. Greene has participated on several panel discussions concerning anger management. These meetings were held at the Prince George’s County Community College. Attendees included teens, parents, church leadership and government officials.

In February 2008, Dr. Greene established The Secret Place Kingdom Ministries Radio Broadcast. This is a weekly thirty minute message airing Thursdays at 7:30pm. (WYCB 1340 AM or live streamed online at myspiritdc.com). The Holy Bible is used as the solution for all issues and problems. It is also used for the purpose of inspiration, motivation, education and the revelation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
